Obituary

Glen "Woody" Sherwood passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was born to Jay and Sadie (Smith) Sherwood on November 26, 1935, in Seymour, WI. He was the last born of 6 children.

He led an adventurous life serving in the US Army, traveled to California to perform and cut a record with his band, and was a great role model. Along with his love of music, he loved carpentry, and ice fishing. He spent his time building and remodeling cabins, furniture, and anything he could create. He was also known as a great ice fisherman, who loved to play "31" while waiting to yell "tip up!"

Woody is survived by his sister, Vera Holzer; his wife of 25 years, Charlotte Sherwood; daughters, Debbie (Alan) Lathrop, Diane (Gary) Sparks, Pam (Terry) Moede; step-children, James (Sherry) Pasdo, and Dennis (Lori) Pasdo; grandchildren, Bruce (Jen) Sherwood, Scott (Amanda) Lathrop, Eric (Brandy) Lathrop, and Justin (Tracy) Barclay; great-grandchildren, Colin, Allison, Trevon, Noah, and Chloe.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Frankie and Roy and sisters, Hazel, June, and Opal. As he wished, no service will take place.
