Gloria P. Hovie, age 83 of Pulaski, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at her home.  Born on September 15, 1934 in Oconto, she is the daughter of the late John and Helen (Gehring) Erdman.  Gloria was united in marriage to Melvin L. Hovie on April 11, 1953 in Brookside, Oconto County.  The couple spent most of their married life farming in the Town of Lessor, until they retired in 2000, when they moved to Pulaski.  Gloria was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, where she was active in Mary Circle.

Gloria is survived by: her husband, Melvin of Pulaski; three children, Kathy (Jim) Folkman of Hobart, Deb (Joe Oskey) Mueller of Pulaski, Pam (Cliff) Landwerlen of Jamestown, IN; nine grandchildren, Matt (Jenny) Folkman, Tarra (Mike) Gallagher, Eric Folkman, Ryan (Jenn) Folkman, Clint (Abby) Mueller, Casey (Jill) Mueller, Cole (Michelle) Mueller, Josh (Kari) Landwerlen, Mindy (Bill) Bodine; 20 great-grandchildren with two on the way; and her sister, Marion Eichman of Green Bay.

She is preceded in death by her son, James; her parents; and her brother, Gary Erdman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with Rev. Paul Pett officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the services.  Burial will be in Our Savior Lutheran Cemetery.
