Gloria June Nacotee, age 59, of Keshena, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019, in Neenah. Gloria was born on January 22, 1960 to the late Joseph and Susan (Dodge) Summers. She was united in marriage to Thomas M. Nacotee, Sr., on May 5 th , 1990 in Keshena. Gloria loved picking berries, riding in the back 40, Pow Wow's, going to the casino, beading and especially loved all her grandbabies and her babies in the classroom. She was an avid Packer and Cubs Fan. She was always going out of her way to help someone in need and had a big caring heart.
Gloria is survived by: her long time soulmate of 17 years Bruce Brown; the father of her children, Thomas M. Nacotee, Sr.; her children, Rebecca (Jason) Komanekin, Lorraine (David) Waupoose, Tammy (Jamie) Komanekin, Thomas (Evelyn) Nacotee and Shirley (Donald) LaTender; grandchildren, Tyler (Libby), Jason Jr. (Saehwon), Nariah, Lashay, Areyah, Chase, Abrianna, Kaitlyn, Lukas, Jamison, Tae'sha, Elymrah, Keria, Thomas III, Marquise, Kaylee, Kiandra, Armani, Amari, Tiarra, Mae, Kaitlyn and Ian; one great grandson, Giovanni; special sons, Russell Peters, Peter Waubanascum, Michael (Jen) Smith, Jason Hart and Robert John Kapishkowit; special daughter Steph (Stevin) Awanohopay; two God son's, Chris Miller and Loomis Fontenelle; sisters, Shirley, Louetta, Lorraine, Josephine, Rose Summers; brothers, Richard, Charlie, Stevie; her best friend in the whole wide world, Rebecca "Becky" Madosh; special nephews, Joe Summers, Deion and John Gladue. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Joe and Susan; mothers-in-law, Agnes Gauthier and Mable Brown; brothers, Robert "Butch" and Roger Summers; sisters, Sharon and Harriet "Unka" Summers; and fur baby, Albert "Beto" Brown.
Funeral services for Gloria will be held at 11 am, on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit, with Fr. Joel Jores officiating. A rosary prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at the Neopit Community Center. Visitation will be at the Neopit Community Center on Monday, November 18, 2019, from 3 pm until time of service Wednesday. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ThedaCare Medical Center – Neenah I.C.U unit for their care of Gloria.
