Gordon D. Long, age 70, passed away on Sunday January 7, 2024, in Shawano. Gordon was born on September 18, 1953, in Oconto, Wisconsin to the late Donald and Doris (Hall) Long. He worked in construction, siding homes for many years. Gordon was united in marriage to Audrey Boivin in Michigan. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching movies. More than anything Gordon loved being with his family especially his beloved grandchildren.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Audrey; children, Sherry Long, Holly Long and Lance Long; numerous grandchildren including a special grandson, Sunny; sister, Cheryl Long; and half siblings, Glenda Long, Tina Rupar and Jamie "Jay" Rupar.

Gordon is preceded in death by his daughters, Candy and Lonna; siblings, Marty Long, Walter "Bug" Long, Dana "Bugsy" Long, Terry Long, Rebecca J. "Becky" Long and Jodi Rupar; and parents, Donald and Doris.

A funeral service for Gordon will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano at 6:00pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024, with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00pm until the time of the service.
