Grace H. Hoffman, age 86 of Shawano formerly of Gresham, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013. Born on Christmas Day 1926 in Leopolis, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Paiser) Sazama. Grace lived in Shawano County her entire life and was a graduate of Marion High School. On May 20, 1950 she was united in marriage to Harold M. "Junior" Hoffman at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Leopolis. After marriage the couple made their home in the Gresham area where Grace worked for the Gresham State Bank for 27 years. She later worked for The Gresham Co-Op for 7 years. Grace was a member of the St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church where she was active with the Altar Society. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and fishing. Grace is survived by: a brother, John Sazama of Shawano; and 13 nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by: her husband, Junior on August 24, 1997; her parents; and a sister, Jeanette Buenning. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham with the Rev. David McElroy O.Praem officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9am until the time of the service.
