Obituary

Gregory T. Gauthier, age 68, of Germany, formerly of Neopit, died on July 21, 2016 in Germany. Greg was born in Keshena April 2, 1948, the son of the late Herman and Doris (Mahkimetas) Gauthier. While serving under the 59th MP Co. in the United States Army, he relocated to Germany where he lived for 47 years. He met his future wife there and Gregory and Ilse Bauer were married on May 15, 1970 in Pirmasans, Germany. Whenever Greg came to the States, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Gregory will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Greg is survived by: his wife, Ilse, two sons, Oliver and Patrick and two grandchildren, Blaze and Naomi all of Germany.

Graveside service for Gregory will be held at 1:00 pm on May 1, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Joel Jores officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Veterans of the Menominee Nation.
