Obituary

Guida A. Welch, age 88 of Bowler, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 in Wittenberg. Born on April 13, 1924 in OK, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Adelia (Abrams) Tousey. On February 6, 1945 she was united in marriage to Merton Welch. Guida worked at Whirlpool for a number of years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Morgan Siding. In her free time she enjoyed doing beadwork, fishing, gardening and she loved animals. Guida is survived by: 8 children, Ralph M. (Francise) Welch of MN, Robert M. (Diane) Welch of Bowler, Rosetta (David) Ramirez of Bowler, Rhonona (Cruize) Vasquez of Bowler, Ronda (Willy) Sullivan of Bowler, Redeena (John) Krieger of MN, Ronald (Pat) Welch of MT, Rupert Welch of Milwaukee; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gretta Jacobs of Bowler. Guida was preceded in death by: her former husband, Merton; 2 sons, Russell and Rene; her parents; 6 brothers; and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church, Morgan Siding with the Rev. Randy Stocksdale and Rev. Dallas Coats officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10am until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Stockbridge Indian Burial Grounds.
