Harley J. Thomas, age 57 of Green Bay, passed to the spirit world on Saturday, January 17, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Harley was born on January 10, 1958 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Frank E. and Frances Joan (Neconish) Thomas. On August 28, 2014 Harley was united in marriage to Lori Jagla in Green Bay. Harley worked as a conservation officer on the Menominee Reservation and later in home construction. He was very involved in his heritage and was a Hoop Dancer. Harley was a very kind and generous man who loved and helped everyone around him. Most important to Harley were his family and friends; he loved them to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Harley is survived by his wife, Lori, 1 daughter, Chantel Thomas, 1 grandson, Christian Thomas and his step-children, Tanya Kamps and Cara and Dillon Feeley. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Georgianna (Jim) Martin of DePere, Patricia Cordts of Shawano, George (Liz) Walter of Neopit, Frank (Renee) Thomas of Keshena, Randy (Michele) Thomas of Crandon, Allie (Wendy) Thomas of Milwaukee, Michael (Christa) Thomas of Neenah, James Thomas of Shawano, Margaret (Tom) Thomas of Milwaukee as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harley was preceded in death by his parents, 1 nephew Carl Cordts, as well as numerous other relatives from the Thomas and Neconish families. A funeral service to celebrate Harley's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 23, 2015 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David Barrett officiating. Visitation will be held at the Neopit Community Center on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 3:00 pm until the time of the service on Friday.
