Harriet R. Mann, age 90 of Shawano, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Evergreen Care Center in Shawano. Born on May 10, 1923 in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Matilda (Tetzlaff) Hiller. She graduated from King High School in 1941 and married Jerome "Jimmy" Mann in 1943 while he was home from the war. They lived and raised their family in Milwaukee until Harriet retired in 1984 after 17 years with the W.H. Brady Co. The couple enjoyed 22 years of active retirement in Arizona. Harriet loved to golf and host dinners for their many friends. After Jimmy's death in 2008 she moved to Shawano to be near her daughter. Harriet is survived by: her son, Greg (Sandy) of the Philippines; her daughter, Stephanie (Dennis) of Gillett; and her "bonus" daughter, Marilyn (Doug) Beitzel of Sussex. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren all of which were dear to her heart. Harriet was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Jimmy; and her sister, Elaine. A committal service will be held on March 17, 2014 at the Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
