Harvey Kirchenwitz, age 86, of Zachow, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Born on February 20, 1934 in the Town of Angelica, Harvey was the son of the late Karl Charles and Mildred (Raaths) Kirchenwitz. On August 2, 1955 Harvey was united in marriage to Yvonne Olderman. Harvey farmed for many years and worked as a machinist at FWD in Clintonville. He loved being outdoors and he spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and spending time in the woods. Harvey was also an accomplished dartball and sheepshead player. Above all else he loved his family and was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Harvey is survived by: his wife of nearly 65 years, Yvonne; his children, Kim (Londa) Kirchenwitz of Escanaba, Michigan, Gale (Ed) Blum of Bonduel, Jody (Bernie) Pryes of Suamico, Kevin (Chris) Kirchenwitz of Weston, Cheryl (Bruce) Breitenfeldt of Pulaski, and Jed (Elizabeth) Kirchenwitz of Brookfield; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Beilfuss of Cecil; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Calvin and Roger.
Private family services will be held with burial in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Zachow. A public memorial service is being planned for a later date.
Harvey's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Country Villa for the wonderful care given to Harvey.
