Hazel Mae Beilfuss, age 82, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021. She was born on August 27, 1939, to the late Karl and Mildred (Raaths) Kirchenwitz in Shawano County, Wisconsin. On October 25, 1958, Hazel was united in marriage with James Beilfuss until he passed away in 2006. She worked at McDonalds as an opener for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Aid of St. Paul in the township of Washington. Hazel loved to travel as well as do crafts like crochet and knit. She was the master of puzzles, crosswords and Sudoku. Family was always a priority for Hazel, and she loved her grandbabies.

She is survived by her children: Mark "Buff" (Lori) Beilfuss, Karl (Suzanne) Beilfuss, and Karen (Mark) Kranzusch, grandchildren: Rechel Beilfuss, Anna Rose Nelson and Ethan John Beilfuss; her step-great-granddaughter, Nona Nelson; his sisters-in-law June Kirchenwitz, Marilyn Kirchenwitz, and Yvonne Kirchenwitz.

Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, James, parents, and brothers: Roger, Calvin,and Harvey Kirchenwitz.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the town of Washington with Pastor Mark Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in the township of Washington following services. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm at the church on Wednesday until the time of service. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
