Helen Beyer, age 93, of Bowler passed away on January 20, 2018. Helen was born on October 22, 1924 in the town of Red Springs to the late Peter and Alice (Williams) Peters.
Helen lived in the Gresham/Bowler area all her life. She married Gabe Beyer on June 9, 1951 in Morgan Siding. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1990. They farmed in the town of Red Springs and town of Almon all their married life. She was a member of the Old Stockbridge Presbyterian Church in Morgan Siding.
Helen is survived by: one daughter, Alice (Bob) Reinke, Oshkosh; two step-sons, Dr. William (Kay) Beyer and David (Ernestine) Beyer; two grandchildren, Kristen (Joe) Phillippi, Bowler, Brian Reinke, Oshkosh; and one sister, Besse (Wayne) Hetzer, Gresham; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; three brothers, Calvin, Merton, and Albert; two sisters, Myrtle Peters and Marie Vogelsang
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Old Stockbridge Presbyterian Church in Morgan Siding. Pastor Micah Shin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30 am until the time of services.
