Helen Hilda Paiser, age 84, of Leopolis, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 in Shawano.
Helen was born in The Town of Morgan, Oconto County on October 27, 1931, the daughter of the late Fred and Ida (Hess) Pieper.
On November 14, 1953, Helen was united in marriage to Robert Paiser at St. Paul Lutheran Church Stony Hill.
Helen loved cooking, never meeting a recipe she didn't like, although, occasionally, she did find a few she had to alter to her liking.
She had cooked at Norm & Pearl's Perleberg, Mary's Place in Bowler, and later Equity in Marion until the age of 80.
Helen is survived by:
her husband of 62 years, Robert; their seven children, James (Bonnie) of Cecil, Thomas (Peggy) of Pardeville, Sally (Bill) Hoefs of Shawano, Sandy Paiser of Leopolis, Judy (Raymond) Begrow of Marion, Jeff (Sue) of Pearson, and Mary (Harlon) Wright of Bowler; one son-in-law, Ron Magolski; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, with another due in February.
She is further survived by one brother, David (Karen) Pieper; one sister, Verna Buntrunk; and one sister-in-law, Renee Pieper; three brothers-in-law, Darold (Gertie) Buettner, Don (Kathy) Buettner, and Jerry (Diane) Buettner.
She was preceded in death by: one daughter, Betty Magolski; her parents, one brother, Fred Pieper, three sisters in infancy, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vera and Vernon "Bun" Buettner and two brothers-in-law, Ed Buettner and Don Buntrunk
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Stony Hill with Rev. John Eyer officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
