Obituary
Helen Peterson, age 79, of Keshena, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Shawano. Born on November 25, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Oshkeshequoam) Corn. On September 6, 1986, Helen was united in marriage to Norman P. Peterson in Keshena. Norman preceded her in death on September 4, 2016. She lived in the Keshena area all her life and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed babysitting for family and friends, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Helen is survived by: her children, Joe Melotte, Jr., Roger (Sherry) Isham, Jessi (Lloyd) Zepeda, Tom Harrison, Tony (Vanessa) Waukau, Dolph (Charmaine) Peterson and Tina (Keith) Peterson; 13 grandchildren, Awaehtok-Mawaew, Helen, Adrian, Aptickasic II, Santana, Thomas Jr, Tahnee, Ashley, Keleigh, Chanice, Adam, Allison and McKenzie; step grandchildren; great grandchildren, Joshua, Adam Jr. and Sage; step great grandchildren; her siblings, Elaine Oku, Robert Corn and Susan Oshkosh; special niece, Leslie; and her special friends, Karen, Kyle, Beaner, Bobby; in-laws, Amber, Romie, Roy, Linda, Annette and Lucille.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Norman; daughter, Annie Melotte; her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Peterson residence at W2926 Rabbit Ridge Road in Keshena. Visitation will held at the residence on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 2:00 pm until the time of the service on Tuesday.
