Obituary

Henry "Chuck" Ziemer, age 75, of Clintonville, formerly of Gresham, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at ThedaCare Hospital in Shawano. Born on March 19, 1942 in the Town of Red Springs, he was the son of the late Henry and Rosalia "Cele" (Beilke) Ziemer. He spent most of his life living in Red Springs, helping his mother. He enjoyed going for walks, listening to country music, smoking cigars, watching TV westerns and talking to other people. Chuck was very easy going, friendly and personable. He could talk to anyone and made friends easily. Chuck was a lifelong member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham.

Chuck is survived by: his sister, Margaret Hoffman of Shawano; his brother, Gerald (Donna) Ziemer of Portage, IN; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ziemer of Waupaca.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; three brothers, Roland, Clarence "Jake" and Robert; brother-in-law, Roger Hoffman; and sister-in-law, Rose Ziemer.

Funeral services for Henry will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 28, 2017 at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham with Rev. David Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
