Herbert W. "Herb" Lehman, Jr., age 66, of Shawano, passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, July 18, 2019. Herb was born on July 21, 1952, in Reedsburg, WI, to the late Herbert W. and Betty Jane (Rego) Lehman, Sr. Herb is a Portage High School graduate. On February 1, 1975, Herb was united in marriage to Cheryl R. Wood in Stoughton. Herb and Cheryl celebrated their 44 ^th wedding anniversary in February. Upon moving to Shawano in 1997 Herb worked for SMU as an operations supervisor until retiring in 2007. In his free time Herb enjoyed the outdoors where he fished, hunted, and played golf. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and kept up with the Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and Milwaukee Brewers. Occasionally Herb and Cheryl enjoyed a trip to the casino to play Keno. He was a member and past president of the Shawano Lake Lions Club.

Herb is survived by: his wife, Cheryl; his children, Kristen J. Lehman, Karla J. Lehman, and William W. "Bill" Lehman all of Shawano; his grandchildren, Austin R. Knaack, Brianna L. Knaack, James R. Netrefa, and Madelyn R. Netrefa; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, LeaAnne and Richard Dvorak, Linda and Larry Brager, Carolyn and Don Kvalheim, and Craig and Joni Wood. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Herbert Sr. and Betty; his maternal grandparents, Anthony and Ann Rego; his paternal grandparents, William C. and Bertha Lehman; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James R. and Marilyn C. (Eckstein) Wood; and his brothers-in-law, James S. Wood, Jeffrey W. Wood, and Steven C. "Chip" Wood.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Chaplin William Van Dynhoven officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
