Obituary

Hilbert E. Schultz, age 93 of the Town of Angelica, passed away Thursday, October 06, 2011 at a local nursing home. Born on July 26, 1918 in the Town of Angelica, he was the son of the late Henry and Alma (Kroening) Schultz. On June 30, 1945 he was united in marriage to Annabel Peterson at the Bethel Lutheran Church in the Town of Green Valley. She preceded him in death on April 19, 1985. Hilbert lived and farmed in Zachow most of his life. He also worked at Graf Creamery for 22 years and at Equity Shipping in Bonduel for many years. Hilbert was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Zachow where he was a church elder, trustee and head of maintenance. He loved to do woodworking projects, especially building sleighs. He also enjoyed having company. Hilbert is survived by: many nieces and nephews. Hilbert was preceded in death by: his wife, Annabel; his parents; 1 brother, Maynard; and 2 sisters, Leona Klevesahl and Lucille Gardebrecht. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Zachow with the Deacon Michael Zamzow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday after 10am until the time of the service. Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
