Obituary

Holly (Crowe) Beyer was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at home with her family at her side. She was born on December 16, 1960 in Shawano, WI. She lived and grew up in Gresham, WI. Holly was a 1979 graduate of Gresham High School and attended St. Norbert College majoring in mathematics. She was a life-long member of the Morgan Assembly of God Church where she recently served on the board and as the organist. One of her proudest accomplishments was graduating with high honors in May of 2016 with her bachelor degree from CMN.

Holly worked for over 30 years in the gaming industry. She was a Gaming Consultant for the National Indian Gaming Association through the University of Nevada. She served in many positions at Menominee Casino and Resort including, Internal Auditor, Director of Gaming, Marketing Analyst, and she was currently the Policies and Procedures Director.

Holly loved listening to gospel music and playing hymns on the piano. She also loved attending church camp at Spencer Lake. Holly enjoyed being up north bear hunting with her husband, son, and friends. She was extremely proud of her son's hunting accomplishments, bear, big buck, coyote, and turkey. Holly enjoyed her evenings at the kitchen table playing Sheephead with her husband and son. She also enjoyed snowmobiling with her family. She also enjoyed going to the U.P. to visit her close cousins, where they would spend hours laughing and telling stories. Holly often stated that she was blessed to have an awesome family, and to have met so many awesome friends throughout the years.

Holly is survived by: her husband, Bruce Beyer; her son, Bryce Beyer; her parents, Connie and Bob Ketner; step children and grandchildren, Emily Beyer, Troy (Jamie) Beyer and their children Lydia, Grace, and Warner, Dustin (Corey) Beyer and their children Parker and Maci, Ryan "Buzz" (Cassie) Beyer and their children Julian, Cora, and Jett; sisters and brothers, Sherry (Mike) Simmons, Debbie Dillenburg, Pam (special brother-in-law Joe) Carroll, Robert Ketner, and Richard Ketner; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dave (Nancy) Beyer, Judy (Ralph) Laine, and Marilyn Zeimer; she was further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Holly was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Joe and Madeline Crowe; niece, Jaci Vigue Caldwell; and brothers-in-law, Art Dillenburg and Roy Zeimer.

Funeral services for Holly will be held at noon on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Hope Community Church in Shawano with the Rev. Richard Vanman officiating. Burial will take place in Gresham Public Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Visitation will be held again on Thursday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service.
