Ida Louise Bloedorn, age 97 of Cecil, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 28, 1915 in the Town of Washington, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mathilda (Moede) Hoppe. Ida was a homemaker and loving mother to her children. She later tended bar and worked at the Shoe Factory. She also enjoyed helping on the dairy farm and tending to the chickens, geese, ducks and cows. On December 26, 1970 she was united in marriage to Roland "Rollie" Bloedorn in Shawano. Ida was a member of the St. John's United Church in Christ in Cecil and was a Lioness with the Cecil Lion's Group. Ida is survived by: her husband, Rollie; 3 children, Delano "Pat" (Marilyn) Wudtke of Bonduel, Nancy (Jim) Mitchell of Bonduel, Gary "Butch" (Barb) Wudtke; a daughter-in-law, Eva Wudtke of Cecil; 9 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Ida was preceded in death by: a son, Donald Wudtke; a daughter in infancy, Shirley Wudtke; 4 grandchildren; her parents; and 3 brothers, Ernest, Ed and Adolph Hoppe. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the St. John's United Church of Christ in Cecil with the Rev. Moira Finley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00am until the time of the service. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
