Ione Herrmann, age 83, of Iowa, formerly of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 in Iowa. Ione was born in the town of Belle Plaine on July 15, 1933, the daughter of the late William and Lina (Reinke) Beyer.  On April 19, 1952, she was united in marriage to William Herrmann in the town of Belle Plaine.  He preceded her in death in 2006.  She was a former member of Peace United Church of Christ.
Ione is survived by: two children, Cindy (Tom) Fenwick of Waukesha and William (Sharon) Herrmann of Hinton, Iowa; four grandchildren, Heather, Christina, James, and William; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Lucille (Dennis) Pevonka of Shawano; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, her parents, and her brother, Donald.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Inurnment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
