Irene Josephine Beyer, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 29, 2022, in Shawano. Irene was born in Chicago on July 22, 1937, to the late Andrew and Frances (Wojniak) Koziol. On January 7, 1961, Irene was united in marriage to Gordon C. Beyer at Northlake Methodist Church in Illinois. Irene worked as a credit division manager at Wilson Sporting Goods where she met Gordon. Later she owned and operated her own cosmetology business called V.P. Beyer & Associates. She was also an Eastman Kodak broker and distributor for over 10 years until she retired, at which point she enjoyed being able to do whatever she wanted. Irene was very involved in church and enjoyed singing for weddings and other events.

Irene is survived by her husband, Gordon and her son, James (Holly) Beyer.

Irene is preceded in death by her daughter, Carolann Frances, sister, Florence Kozlowski, and her parents.

Private family services will be held.
