Their final business was the Pine Acre Motel which was located here in Shawano, which they ran until they retired. Isabelle was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano where she volunteered for the chili dinners, funerals and her favorite, the church fair stand. She also volunteered at the Heritage Museum, hospital gift shop and the food pantry. Isabelle is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Mallett of Shawano, Jayne (Charles) Strause of Shorevview, MN; grandchildren, Chris and Mark Mallett, Nick and Stephenie Strause; siblings, Mae Krueger of Shawano, Anne Belle (Arnold) Krause of Shawano, Elaine (Ray) Midkiff of Germantown, OH, Patty (Donna) Moede of Oshkosh, Marshall "Mike" (Beatrice) Moede of Clintonville, Jim (Nancy) Moede of Marshfield and John (Dehlia) Moede of California. Isabelle was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Eugene; grandson, Samuel; and five brothers and sisters, Louise Berger, Charlotte Heinz, Lucy Johnston, Orvis (Butch) Moede and Gordon Moede. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano, with the Rev. Marty Black officiating.
