Jack C. Reinke, age 81, of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Jack was born on August 6, 1938, in Tigerton, to the late Victor and Violet (Paiser) Reinke. He graduated from Shawano High School. Jack lived in Langlade for a short time. On October 22, 1960, Jack was united in marriage to Sally Kriefall in Leopolis. After 23 years of marriage, on June 26, 1984, Sally preceded Jack in death. On July 9, 1988, Jack was united in marriage to Donna (Turkow) Mauel at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham. He worked at FMC Corporation for 37 ½ years, never missing a day or calling in sick, retiring in 2001. Jack was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He enjoyed building wooden tractors, hunting, and he was an avid Cubs fan. Jack was a family man who never missed his grandchildren's sporting events.
Jack is survived by: his wife of 31 years, Donna; his children, Steve (Lana) Reinke of Shawano, Melissa Hagel of Green Bay, Dan Mauel of Shawano, Deb (Bob) Jacobson of Shawano, and Dean Mauel of Shawano; grandchildren, Kyle (Katie), Tyler (Alisa), Jordan (Jenna), Drew, Mya, and Joseph; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Carol (Wayne) Oestreich of Clintonville and Rita Trinko of Shawano. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Violet, and his first wife, Sally.
A funeral service for Jack will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, September 6, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Scott Valentyn officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday from 9:30 am until the time of service.
The family of Jack would like to extend a special thank you to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, the ICU, the hospice team, and the physicians for their compassionate care.
