James A. "Jim"  Eggert, age 82, of Rothschild, Wisconsin found peace on Monday, May 6, 2024. Jim was born in Shawano, Wisconsin on January 18, 1942, son of the late Arthur and Gladys (Schulz) Eggert. Jim graduated from Shawano High School in 1960. He went on to college and graduated from Central State College (UWSP) with a bachelor's degree in physics and general science in 1965. He went on to earn his master's degree in Radiological Health from NDSU, Fargo, North Dakota in 1967. In 1970 Jim was united in marriage to Kathleen Maahs.  Jim and Kathy made their home in Idaho where Jim was employed as a health physicist and criticality safety engineer at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory until retiring and returning to Wisconsin in 2007.

Jim is survived by his wife, Kathleen; a sister, Barbara Mueller; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat and Steve Schulz; three nieces; and two nephews.
