James Leighton "Jim Bro" Rockman, age 20, passed away on Monday October 16, 2023, in Appleton surrounded by his family. James was born September 2, 2003, in Shawano to Gary Rockman and the late Michelle Kelley. He graduated from Menominee Indian High School. James worked at the Menominee Tribal Enterprise as a lumber sorter.

James is survived by his son, Jayden; father, Gary Rockman; siblings, Kassidy Kelley, Louis Wolf, Tylecia Rockman, Pristine Rockman, Leighton Tousey and Julz Turney; and grandmothers, Jacquelyn Kelley and Carol Garza.

James is preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Kelley and sisters, Katelyn Kelley and Rhiannon Kaye Kelley.

A funeral service for James will be held at 11:00 am on Friday October 20, 2023, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the David Kiefer Room at the Neopit Community Center beginning on Wednesday October 18, 2023, at 4:00 pm and continuing until the time of service on Friday. Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
