James D. “Jim” Kosbab, Jr., age 59, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Green Bay. Jim was born on August 1, 1966, in Phoenix, Arizona to James D. Kosbab, Sr., and Virginia Skalitzky. He worked for Michels Construction; he enjoyed his job and considered his coworkers family. Jim was lucky enough to find his true love, Kim, and share nearly 30 years of beautiful memories together. On July 11, 2025, he was united in marriage to Kim in Duluth, Minnesota. Jim loved his dogs. He was a great man, kind, humble and generous; he would do anything for anyone.

Jim is survived by his wife, Kim; dog, Gordo; sisters, Paula and Jennifer; niece, Katie; parents, James Kosbab, Sr., and Virginia Strickland; and favorite aunt, Kathy who was like a second mom.

Jim is preceded in death by numerous dogs including, Bella, Bubba, Lola and Sophie.

A celebration of Jim’s life is being planned.
