James A. Peterman, age 60 of the Town of Richmond, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 in Shawano. Born on December 17, 1952 in Shawano, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Virginia (Hanson) Peterman. James lived in the Shawano area most of his life where he was a member of the St. Jakobi Lutheran Church. On July 14, 1979 he was united in marriage to Barbara Bray in Green Bay. In his free time James enjoyed hunting and fishing. James is survived by: his wife, Barbara; a sister, Diane (Jeffrey) Peterman-Simmons of Glendale; a brother, Glenn (Deborah) Peterman of Two Rivers; and nieces and nephews, Sarah Peterman, Adam Peterman and David Peterman-Simmons. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Travis Kleinschmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Fort Howard Cemetery in Green Bay.
