Obituary

James Charles Tourtillott, age 69, of Keshena, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. James was born on May 19, 1948 in Keshena, the son of the late James Charles and Margaret Ann (Snake) Tourtillott and was raised in Neopit. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1966 -1970. Upon his honorable discharge, James moved to Milwaukee where he resided until moving to Keshena a year ago.

James is survived by: his children, Lisa Marie (Thomas) Medley, Jamie (Michael) Groll, Stacy Ann Tolentino and step-daughter, Diana Hoddleston; five grandchildren, Natasha, Thomas, Laila, Azucena and Anthony; three sisters, Mary Ann (Arnold) Metoxen of Oneida, Heidi Tourtillott of AZ and Lori Leiser of Milwaukee; three brothers, Mark (Cathy) Tourtillott of Lindenwold, NJ, Keith (Lona) Tourtillott of Keshena and Thomas Tourtillott of Nekoosa; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at the Keith Tourtillott residence at N970 Hwy 47/55 in Keshena on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm when the procession leaves for St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the Veterans of the Menominee Nation at 1:00 pm on Saturday
