Janet Mae Gipp, age 86 of Cecil, passed away on Sunday September 3, 2023. She was born on May 2, 1937, in Shawano to the late Ruben and Celia (Hull) Wetzel. Janet was united in marriage to Marvin V. Gipp on October 24, 1954, in Cecil. Marvin preceded Janet in 2022. They owned and operated the family dairy farm until Marvin's retirement. Janet worked part time outside the farm at points over the years, but her most fulfilling job was grandma. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved playing at the farm with grandma watching over them. Janet enjoyed bowling and was an avid reader.

Janet is survived by her children, Janalee (Larry) Wetzel, Victor Gipp and Jeff (Deb Noffke) Gipp; daughter-in-law, Tina Gipp; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Gerald (Diane) Wetzel.

Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; son James; parents, Ruben and Celia; and sister, Sandra Bailey.
