Obituary

Janet Delores Reinhardt nee Meltz, age 84 of Shawano and Sun Prairie, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare in Madison, WI after an aggressive battle with large B-cell Lymphoma. Born on September 19, 1933 in the Town of Vinland, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Alvina (Pansy) Meltz. Janet grew up in the Oshkosh area and married Roy Wallace Reinhardt on July 19, 1952. Roy preceded her in death on March 23, 2013.

The couple moved to Pulaski in 1956 where they purchased their own farm and raised their family. When not working the farm, Janet was an avid reader and gardener. She loved her flower gardens, which were the envy of all her neighbors for their beauty. She also served on the Ladies Aid at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church for many years. Janet was a wonderful, attentive wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and spent as many hours as possible with each of them. After retiring from farming, the couple moved to Shawano in 1995.

Janet is survived by: her four children, Charles (Debra) Reinhardt of Sun Prairie, Bonnie (Keith) Hanamann of Green Bay, Keith Reinhardt of Pulaski and Glenn (Cheryl) Reinhardt of Waukesha; 7 grandchildren Heather (Doug) Lenz, Nick (special friend Lindsay) Van Egeren, Tricia (Steve) LaLuzerne, Karla (Jon) Habeck, Doug (Lynn) Reinhardt, Brad (special friend Samantha) Reinhardt and Nikki (Jason) Pawlak; 7 great-grandchildren Kaelyn, Braeden, Hayley, Austin, MacKenzie, Luke and Landon; nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband Roy, her daughter-in-law, Debbie Reinhardt and sisters Germaine Kiesow, Darlene Davey and Violet Meltz.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the St. Paul's Ev Lutheran Church, W1978 Church Dr., Pulaski, WI. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Green Bay. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Agrace HospiceCare are appreciated.
