Janice Marie Kuehn, age 83 of Shawano formally of Bonduel, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019. She was born on December 15, 1935 in the Town of Green Valley to the late Peter and Verna (Olsen) Hansen.  Janice was united in marriage to Duane "Buzz" Kuehn on December 1, 1956 at Bethel Lutheran Church – Town of Green Valley. Janice and Duane farmed outside of Bonduel.  She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, baking and embroidery.  She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and belonged to the Mission Circle.

Janice is survived by; her children, Cathy (Charles) Schmidt of Cecil, Debra Kuehn of Shawano and Laurie (Steve) Rasmussen of Bonduel; grandchildren, Jamie Brodhagen, Brian Brodhagen, Amanda (Rudy) Steffen, Amber Schmidt, Greg (Ashley) Hughes, Alisha (John) Rusch, Tyler (Amy) Rasmussen, Justin (Tina) Rasmussen and Walker Rasmussen; great grandchildren, Madysun, Arsyn and Kenna; siblings, Diana (Roger) Bahr and LaRue (Jane) Hansen and brother-in-law Ray Schroeder. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, parents and two sisters, Arvilla (Marvin) Severson and Doris Schroeder,

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with the Rev. Timothy Shoup officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
