Janice Luella Waush, age 83, passed away on Saturday January 13, 2024, in Shawano surrounded by family. Janice was born in Navarino, Wisconsin on April 25, 1940, daughter of the late Orrie and Leona (Pues) Landsverk. On July 7, 1962, she was united in marriage to Raymond Waush. The couple spent 52 wonderful years together before Raymond's passing in 2014. Janice worked for Thrivent as a clerical worker and enjoyed her time babysitting for numerous families throughout the years. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, boating, cooking, watching sports, sewing, baking lefse and bread, and sending greeting cards to family and friends. She loved her cottage and all that "lake living" entailed. Janice was a wonderful woman with a fun-loving spirit who cared deeply for others. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Left to cherish Janice's memory are: her children, Wanda (Joe) Pleshek, Kurt Waush and Kent Waush; grandchildren, Jamie (Tommy Kent) Rudie, Bailey (Tony) Snorek and Brock Pleshek. She is further survived by a special sister-in-law, Mina Landsverk, nieces, nephews, other relatives, the "parachute club", and many friends.

Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; a son, Kyle Waush; siblings, Bruce Landsverk and Joan Landsverk; and her parents, Orrie and Leona.

A memorial service for Janice will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday January 27, 2024, at Ascension Lutheran Church, Navarino with Rev. Mark Sabin officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
