Janice Marie Wilkinson, age 79, of Clintonville, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Shawano. Janice was born on August 24, 1940, in Shawano, to the late Fred and Olga (Martin) Rusch. She graduated from Shawano High School and went on to Beauty School in Green Bay where she earned her Associates Degree. She worked for 10 years at the Four Wheel Drive in Clintonville. On October 10, 1959, in Shawano, Janice was united in marriage to Tom Wilkinson. She is an active member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano and was the school librarian and sang in the church choir for many years. Janice loved spending time with her family, especially when they were able to go snow skiing.

Janice is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tom; her children, Steven (Audrey) Wilkinson of Victoria, British Columbia and Kari Wilkinson of Wauwatosa; and one grandson, Asher. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Lori Ann, and two sisters, Laverna (Ray) Wolf and Bernadine (Ervin) Teske.

A funeral service for Janice will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with Rev. Steve Schauder officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 9:30 am until the time of service.
