Jay M. Meek, age 51, of Bowler, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. Jay was born in Milwaukee on July 11, 1970, to the late John A. and Bernadette E. (Molter) Meek. Jay attended Shawano High School with the class of 1988. He worked as a cabinet builder and installer for the past 27 years, most recently for Wilco Cabinets in Green Bay. He made beautiful cabinetry.  During his free time, Jay enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, watching movies, and playing cribbage.

Jay is survived by his children, Jay Meek II (Brittany) and Jurni Meek; a grandchild on the way; his former wife and the mother of his children, Delores Meek; brothers and sisters, Jeff (Penny) Meek, Jimmy Meek, Julie (Jeff) Wendt, Jenny Lex, Joanne Woitekaitis, Joyce (Richard) Green, and Janet (Frank) Sardina; a sister-in-law, Jody Meek; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernadette, brothers, John Meek, Jerry Meek, and Joe Meek; and a brother-in-law, Keith Woitekaitis.

Private family services were held.
