Jean Ann Dorothy Gutmann, age 79, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at her home. Jean Ann was born in Milwaukee on June 12, 1937, the daughter of the late Johanna (Dohrwardt) Childs and step father Lorenzo Childs.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafting.  Music was an important part of her life and she enjoyed singing and playing several musical instruments.
Jean Ann is survived by: her partner, Floyd Webler; five children, David (Denise) Malmquist, Jeanna (Tim) Powell, Thomas Malmquist, Gerald (Sandy) Gutmann and Robert Gutmann; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion Maier; and two brothers, John (Shirley) Giese and James (Pat) Giese.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Christopher, her parents, and one sister, Lillian.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Doc's Harley Davidson in the Hog Barn.  Inurnment will be in Forest Mound in Waupun at a later date.
