IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jean "Jeanna"
Davids
April 13, 1960 – September 2, 2025
Jean "Jeanna" Davids passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, at the age of 65. She had a gentle spirit that was always seeking something more, and she touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth and kindness.
Jeanna found joy in life's simple pleasures and shared that joy generously with others. She was a gifted cook who delighted in preparing meals for family and friends - and made the absolute best baked beans anyone had ever tasted. She took great pride in maintaining a beautiful, spotless home that welcomed all who entered. Her artistic talents shone through her beautiful stained-glass creations, and she had an eye for beauty that was reflected in her many cherished collections of fine dishes, pottery, teapots, and clocks.
Above all, Jeanna was devoted to her family. She treasured every moment spent with her three granddaughters, Morgan, Mila, and Quin, who brought endless light to her life. Her competitive spirit and sharp wit were legendary in family game nights, where she played to win and never gave anyone an easy victory (Even if it meant pulling some strings to get there). This was a trait that taught her children the value of earning their successes.
Jeanna had an underrated sense of humor and a heart that was always ready to help others. She was really a nice person who approached life with grace, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to doing her best for those she loved.
She is survived by her three children: Jennifer (Sean) Andresen, Ben Crist, and Rachel (Justin) Reed; her beloved granddaughters Morgan, Mila, and Quin; her little buddies Pips and Squeaks; her sisters Diane and Vicky; her brother Dale; her special friend Bruce. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy "Oscar" Davids and Ardell Tarr, and her brothers Gerald "Jerry" and Joel "Joby".
A funeral service for Jeanna will be held at 11:00 am on Monday September 8, 2025, at the Lutheran Church of The Wilderness with pastor Paul Johnson officiating. Visitation will begin on Monday at the church at 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will be held at the Stockbridge Indian Burial Grounds following services. The family invites all attendees and friends to join them for a luncheon at the church following services.
