Jean Marie (Geimer) Jorgensen, age 81, of Gillett, passed away on September 23, 2023, surrounded by her family. Jean was born on April 12, 1942, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay. On July 13, 1963, she was united in marriage to Gary Jorgensen in Green Bay. Jean and Gary moved to Neenah, Milwaukee, then lived in Appleton most of their married life, before settling down on Moshawquit Lake. She was a member at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton, now attending Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. Jean loved going to Florida over the winter months. She enjoyed Disney trips with family, golfing, spending time with family on Moshawquit Lake, board games, and playing cribbage. Jean enjoyed spending her free time delivering Meals On Wheels.

Jean is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gary; children, Mark (Sherri), Jim (Teri), John, and Lori (Christa); eleven grandchildren, Alexis, Ashlyn, Aubrey, Preston, Cole, Sara, Matt, Aaron, Ryan, Megan, and Millie; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Kathryn (Joe), and Bobby (Cathy); brother-in-law, Jack.

Jean is preceded in death by her mothers, Clara, and Mary, father, Robert, and sisters, Mary Rose, Pam (Agatha), and Janice.

A memorial mass for Jean will be held at noon on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Fr. Edward Looney officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
