IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jean L.
Kralovetz
July 16, 1934 – May 14, 2023
Jean L. Kralovetz, age 88 of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was born in Bonduel on July 16, 1934, the daughter of the late Rudolf and Laura (Johanna) Sorenson. Jean's early life was spent in Bonduel, and fondly recalled many memories growing up on the "Home Farm" on Valley Road. She was a graduate of Bonduel High School. In July of 1952, Jean and Darrel "Toby" Kralovetz were united in marriage. She enjoyed working at the Village Trader, sharing her snappy style with others, and then became a real estate agent in the Bonduel area for over 20 years. Jean was an intelligent, funny, quick-witted, (occasional smart-ass), who was also kind and made sure everyone had what they needed. She was a loving second mother to her daughter-in-law, Donna, whose mother died too soon. Jean also shared her motherly love with all her nieces and nephews. In every circumstance, Jean was stylish… her hair perfect in every picture, dressed to the nines. She loved thrifting, passing on her gift of acquiring the perfect ensemble, to future generations. Jean spent a lot of time at the racetrack, being the number one cheerleader for her family of racers. She enjoyed going to the casino, and somehow always seemed to be luckier than everyone else. She loved traveling, especially her many trips to see her sister in California. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. Jean and Toby were members of Zion Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, Toby; two children, Terry (Donna) Kralovetz, and Tom Kralovetz; three grandchildren, Lindsay, Dillon (Whitni) and Dallas; four great grandchildren, Keaton, Carson, Madison, and Boston; her sister, Verdell Payne, and a sister-in-law, Shirley Sorenson.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Gordon Sorenson, Phyllis Anderson, and Robert Sorenson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Lorretta Waegli officiating. The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30am until the time of the service. The burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
