Jeannine Alaine Voeks, age 63 of Green Bay, went to be in the arms of her loving Savior on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. Born on October 15, 1950 in Green Bay, she was the daughter of Carl Busch and the late Dorraine (Hanstedt) Busch. Jeannine grew up in the Bonduel area and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1968. After high school, Jeannine lived in Appleton where she worked at AAL for ten years. She then lived in Juneau for many years where she worked as a CNA for Clearview Nursing Home. For the last few years she lived in Green Bay where she worked for Kindred Hearts. Jeannine was a member of the Christ of the Bay Church in Green Bay and was a former J.C. and volunteer for the Special Olympics. When not working, Jeannine enjoyed playing scrabble, watching the birds and collecting angels. In her younger years, she also enjoyed bowling and traveling. Jeannine is survived by: her daughter, Rachel Voeks; her former husband, Darrell Voeks; her father, Carl Busch of Bonduel; 3 sisters, Carla Parsons of Bonduel, Noreen (David) Gruel of Chilton, Cheryl (John) Paholke of Bonduel; and 3 brothers, Wesley Busch of Bonduel, Rodney (Rose Marie) Busch of Oshkosh and Neil Busch of Zachow. Jeannine was preceded in death by: her son, Michael; and her mother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Christ of the Bay Church in Green Bay with the Rev. Curtis DeCoste officiating. Burial will be in the St. Johns' Lutheran Cemetery in Juneau. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Friday from 4:00-8:00pm and at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
