Jeffery John Paulson, age 56 of Shawano, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020. Jeffery was born on March 5, 1964 to the late John and Patricia (Kuhnke) Paulson in Waukegan, Illinois. Jeffery graduated from Warren Township High School where he played tennis and football. He attended Upper Iowa University where he played tennis and earned his bachelor's degree. Jeffery worked with his dad for over 20 years as a real estate broker. He later worked as a welder and fabricator at KI. Jeffery enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and playing softball. He was a die-hard Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. Jeffery was a quiet and kind man who loved his dog and faithful companion Sammy. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jeffery is survived by his children, Madelynn Paulson and Emma Paulson both of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois; his sister, Pamela (James) Spalding of Cottage Grove; nieces and nephews, Jaryd, Payton, and Jayda Spalding; and four lifelong friends, Carl, Doug, Lloyd, and Ernie. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Ascension Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Sabin officiating. Burial will be in Ascension Lutheran Cemetery.
