Dr. Jerome V. Schuelke, age 86, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, July 08, 2020 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Shawano. Jerome was born on November 28, 1933, in Navarino, to the late Benjamin and Gladys (Pues) Schuelke. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On February 13, 1954, Jerome was united in marriage to Beverly King at St. Mary's Lutheran Church in Kenosha. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating in 1957. Jerome owned and operated Schuelke Chiropractic Clinic, which is now known as Countryview Chiropractic Clinic, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed deer hunting and duck hunting with his dog by his side. Jerome enjoyed watching football and was a hobby writer.

Jerome is survived by his wife of 66 years, Beverly; children, Dr. Jean (Dr. Richard) Pensis of Bonduel, Roxanne (Anthony "Tony") Megna of Kaukauna, and Kathryn Short of Shawano; daughter-in-law, Julie Schuelke; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Dr. Peter Schuelke and Dr. Marcus Schuelke; two brothers and a sister.

A funeral service for Jerome will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Scott Ludford officiating. Burial will be held in Union Cemetery in Navarino. Visitation will be held on Saturday at church from 9:30 am until the time of services.
