Jessica Lynn Hafner, age 40, of Bowler, died on July 2, 2015 in Green Bay. Jessica was born in Shawano, on March 15, 1975 to James J. and Debra M. (Zinda) Hafner. She was a graduate of Shawano Community High School and went on to work as an insurance claim specialist. Jess loved life and enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers, but especially her lilies. She enjoyed shopping, movies and going to breakfast with her parents. Jessica is survived by her two sons, Nathaniel and Kyle; her significant other, Mike Asenbrener; her parents, James and Debra of Shawano; her brother, Derek (Sheryl) Hafner of Shawano; her nieces, Paige and Cailen; her grandmothers, Cecelia and Elaine, as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by both of her grandfathers, Roger and Leonard. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Jerry Cho officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
