Jewel D. Posselt, age 81, of Shawano, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, 2022. She was born on July 5, 1941, to the late Alvin and Lily (Wussow) Nadler in Shawano. Jewel was a graduate of Bonduel High School. On May 30, 1964, she was united in marriage to David Posselt in Shawano. He preceded her in death in 2011. Jewel was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Stony Hill. Jewel's children knew her well for her love of her home and keeping it lovingly decorated throughout the year. Jewel's other pastimes included painting, bowling, cards, socializing with friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She also spoke fondly of donating her time to the Ladies' Aid at the church.

She is survived by her children, Kerry (Mark) Harding, Dan Posselt and Andy (Jessa) Posselt; nine grandchildren, Sam, Jacob, Isabella, Oscar, Rowan, Aria, Elliot, Cedar and Martin.

Jewel is preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents; and daughter, Michelle.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Swedberg Funeral Home with Pastor Conradt officiating. Visitation will be held at noon at the funeral home until the time of service. Inurnment will be in Stony Hill Cemetery.
