Obituary

**Please Note...date of death above is incorrect. Our obituary page appears chronological and we do this so that the obit can be seen currently*** Dear Mom, You left us so unexpectedly.and although our hearts are broken and we feel lost right now.you are back at Dad's side; where you were most happy. That brings us solace through our loss. While Dad was our strength, you were the peacekeeper. always stepping up to make sure that through our unique family craziness that we remember that we are family..and our love runs deep. You taught us about the commitment to family and how to be loving, patient and compassionate peopleyou were the love and glue that kept us together and who made us who we are today. We didn't just lose our mother, we lost our best friend. You were so sensitive and loving- always there for advice and consolation or at times just to vent. You were our room mother when we were in elementary school. We have so many memories of "girl's days" when we did our Christmas baking or went "school clothes" shopping. You always took us out for a day of shopping just before the babies came. You were always there to help with school projects and especially helping Dan with his cloth map of the United States. Mom spent 40 years as a Registered Nurse, working on medical/surgical floors, psychiatric units, physician offices, and nursing homes. Mom gave up numerous holidays and weekends with her family to care for others. She loved her work and had a very special gift for expert and loving bedside care. We love you Mom, and our world will never be the same without you here with us.
