Joan F. Fischer, age 84, passed away on Sunday April 2, 2023, at her home in Cecil. Joan was born on April 16, 1938, to the late Harold and Irene (Klevesahl) Schultz, in Shawano. She graduated from Bonduel High School. On September 1, 1956, she was united in marriage to Jack Fischer in Green Valley. Joan was a cook at Cecil Grade School for 20 years. She owned and operated "Country Krafts" in Shawano. Joan enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. People would come from all over to visit her flower garden. Joan was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church/ White Clay Lake in Cecil. She lived in Shawano County all her life. Joan was the world's greatest wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the most wonderful, loving, caring, warm woman.

Joan is survived by her husband of 66 years, Jack; her children, Ricky (Rhonda) Fischer, Jeffrey (Kandi) Fischer, Peggy (Tom) Cocking and Tammy (Delon) Darga; her grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) Geske, Rachel (Cory) Neville, Nicole Shipla, Adam Jahnke, Katie (Tyler) and their daughter Everly,  Amy (Grady), Tate and Sydney; her 9 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Wayne (Dolly) Schultz, Merle Schultz and Pat Peters.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Irene; her grandson-in-law, Jay Shipla; her sister-in-law, Angie Schultz; her brother-in-law, Orlie Peters; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marvin and Helen Fischer.

A funeral service for Joan will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday April 8, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church/ White Clay Lake in Cecil, with Pastor Craig Nehring officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
