Joan (Joni) Valerie Beaumier, 86, of Shawano, WI, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026. Joni was born January 19, 1940, in Shawano to Willard and Grace (Spohn) Tetting. She graduated from Shawano High School in 1958. She went on to complete a course in transactional analysis. In 1960, she was united in marriage to Roger Ziemer in Shawano. He preceded her in death in 2019. In 1986, she was united in marriage to Dominic Beaumier in Las Vegas. He preceded her in death in 2002. Joni lived in Green Bay for 24 years and worked in retail for 22 years while there. She retired in 1994 and moved to Shawano. She taught Sunday School and belonged to Bible class. She regularly attended Hope Baptist Church and Senior services at St. James Lutheran Church. She was blessed by Pastor Griffen August 17, 2018. She was a member of Foxy Lady Red Hat and Sociable Singles and also did volunteer work. Joni enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including raising ducks at her home in Cecil. Joni loved boating on Shawano Lake, downhill skiing in Michigan and Colorado, and golfing. She traveled to 19 states and 3 countries. Above all, Joni loved her family, friends, and pets. She devoted her life to her family as a loving stay-at-home mother to her three sons and was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her spunky and witty personality and was always fun to be around. Her humor, warmth, and strong spirit brought joy to those who knew her.

Joan is lovingly survived by her sons, Steven Ziemer, Glenn (Sue) Ziemer, and Kip (Renee) Ziemer; grandchildren, Jacque, Lucas, Seth, Gabriel, Michael, Samuel, Lilly, Charity, and Daniel; and great-grandchildren, Madysyn, Cooper, Jagr, Raigen, Ameliah, and Lincoln. She is also survived by her brothers, Dan (Marge) Tetting, Jeff (Linda) Tetting, and Douglas Tetting. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Grace Tetting; her husband, Dominic; her sister, Barbara; and her daughter-in-law, Sue.

Joan’s family finds comfort in the promise of the Gospel:

“Now I would remind you, brothers and sisters, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved… that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”

— 1 Corinthians 15:1–4
