Joanie Kallies, age 44 of Milwaukee, formerly of Keshena, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 21, 2020. Joanie was born on May 12, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Curtis and Ellen (Schanandore) Kallies. She lived in Chicago most of her life and moved to Milwaukee five years ago.

Joanie is survived by: three children, Nicole, Dimitris and Sarah; two grandsons, her siblings, Wydelle Kallies of Keshena, Carla Martin of Keshena, Alfred Kallies of Keshena, Anna (Myron Boivin) Kallies of Keshena Elaina Kiutacheff of Chicago and Dimitri Kiutacheff; special aunt and uncle Gay (Mike) Kaquatosh and John Kaquatosh and special friends John Ulrich and Miguel as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, birth mother Diane Schanandore and grandmother Rose Dodge.

Family funeral service for Joanie will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Fr. David Barrett officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 9:30 until the time of service.
