Obituary

JoAnn Marheine, age 64, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 in Franklin. Born in Iron Mountain, MI on March 30, 1953, she is the daughter of the late Vern and Vivian (Bartlett) Johnson.  On May 27, 2000, JoAnn was united in marriage to Walter "Marvin" Marheine in Kaukauna, Marvin preceded her in death on October 23, 2011.  She enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her grandkids.
JoAnn is survived by: her children, Travis (Corinna) Jahnke of Neenah, Vernon Jahnke of Franklin and Matthew (Shannon) Marheine of Oregon; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Jamie, Jacob, Eli, Lexi and Connor and three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Levi and Evi.  She is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Dora Johnson of AZ, Russell Ketola of AZ, Elizabeth Weigert of Gresham, Shirley (Rod) Bennetts of Sagola, Vern (Judi) Johnson of AZ and David Johnson of Hartford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Marvin"; her parents; and one sister, Marlene Tovar and one brother, Frank Ketola.
A memorial service for JoAnn will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
