Jodi Dufay, age 56, of Shawano, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, February 18, 2022. Jodi was born in Shawano on December 26, 1965, daughter of the late Robert and Sheila (Jones) DeMarb. Jodi graduated from Shawano High School with the class of 1984. She worked as a teacher's aid at Shawano Middle School for several years and more recently worked as a caregiver at Paiser's Oak Haven in Shawano. On April 22, 1995, Jodi was united in marriage to Robert Dufay at the Assembly of God Church in Shawano. Jodi was a very caring person and always put the needs of others before her own. You could always count on Jodi being honest and direct and she was more than happy to tell you exactly what was on her mind. In her free time, she enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and baker, she made unbelievable homemade cinnamon rolls and chocolate cake. Jodi was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Jodi is survived by her husband, Robert Dufay; children, Shane DeMarb, Danielle Dufay, and Mariah Dufay; a grandson, Ashton; her brother, Brian (Sue) DeMarb; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding Jodi in death are a son, Austin in infancy and her parents.

A funeral service for Jodi will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at River Valley Church in Shawano with Rev. Mark Kelliher officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:30am until the time of the service.
