Jodi Simono, age 48, of Gillett, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022.  Jodi was born in Shawano on September 18, 1973, daughter of Mary (Caldwell) Helsinger and the late Charles "Chuck" Helsinger, Sr.  Jodi is a graduate of Menominee Indian High School.  On August 29, 1998, she was united in marriage to Robert Simono at St. Michael's Church in Keshena.  Jodi worked for MirroCraft at Northport Marine in Gillett.  She was a very giving and loving woman, and her family meant the world to her.  Jodi loved hosting an annual 4 ^th of July gathering at her home.  She was a great cook and made excellent chili and fry bread as well as home made pizzas.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

Jodi is survived by: her husband, Robert; her two daughters, Cassandra and Lilly Simono; her dog, Sammy; her mother, Mary Helsinger; siblings, Deborah Helsinger, Brian Helsinger, Kathy (Waldon) Peters, Sr., Jolene (Tony) Paredes-Ruiz, and Charles (Tabitha) Helsinger, Jr.; nieces and nephews, ChristaLee (Tim), Christapher, Shannon, Tiffany (Devan) Wally (Justine) who is also her godson, Katelynn (Joe), Danny, Maurice, Passion, Aiyana who is also her goddaughter, Gavyn, Cadyn, Brian, Jr., Raymond who is also her godson, Landen, Joseph, Christal, Ashley, Erica, Lisa, Kevin, and Ryan.  She is further survived by great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jodi is preceded in death by her father and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joan and Dan Simono.

A funeral service for Jodi will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00am until the time of the service.

Jodi would have been proud that in death she gave others the gift of life through organ donation.
